Kids Birthday Parties are great at Snowplanet! For a fantastic and memorable snow-filled birthday party, book a Kid's Party Pack at Snowplanet. We have a variety of Birthday Party Packages, each offering a one-of-a-kind experience, where children can be introduced to snow sports with their friends in a fun & safe environment!
SNOWPLAY Birthday Party Package $29
The Kids Snowplay Party Package includes:
- Snowplay Tobogganing
- Snow Boots
- Kids Party meal and drink in the Snowplanet Restaurant & Bar
- "It's My Birthday" badge for the birthday child
- Online Snowplanet party invitations
- Basic table setting - table cloth, party hats, balloons
- Happy Birthday welcome message
- One Adult gains free snow entry with the birthday party packages (excludes rental equipment).
Cost: $29 per child (aged 4-12 years, minimum of 6 children)
Available Monday - Friday, 10am-2pm. Excludes school & public holidays.

SNOW TUBING Party Package $39
The Kids Snow Tubing Party Package includes:
- 2 hours of Snow Tubing
- Snow Boots
- Kids Party meal and drink in the Snowplanet Restaurant & Bar

STANDARD Party Package $49
The Kids Standard Party Package includes:
- Day Pass for access to the snow
- Rental Equipment (skis/snowboard, boots and poles or toboggan)
- Kids Party meal and drink in the Snowplanet Restaurant & Bar
- "It's My Birthday" badge for the birthday child
- Online Snowplanet party invitations
- Basic table setting - table cloth, party hats, balloons
- Happy Birthday welcome message
- One Adult gains free snow entry with the birthday party packages (excludes rental equipment).
Cost: $49 per child (aged 4-12 years, minimum of 6 children)
SNOWSPORTS Party Package $59
The Snowsports Party Package includes:
- Private 1 hour Ski or Snowboard Instructor
- Day Pass for access to the snow
- Rental Equipment (skis/snowboard, boots and poles or toboggan)
- Kids Party meal and drink in the Snowplanet Restaurant & Bar
- "It's My Birthday" badge for the birthday child
- Online Snowplanet party invitations
- Basic table setting - table cloth, party hats, balloons
- Happy Birthday welcome message
- One Adult gains free snow entry with the birthday party packages (excludes rental equipment).
Cost: $59 per child (aged 4-12 years, minimum of 6 children)
PARTY EXTRAS
- We can also supply a Snowplanet Mud Cake upon request for only $35! You are more than welcome to bring your own cake if you wish.
- Clothing hire is additional ($11 for single item, $19 for jacket and pants).
- Gloves can be hired at a price of $9 per pair, or purchased at $24.99 per pair.
- We do not hire beanies or socks, so please bring your own.

FAQs
What if the adults want to go into the snow with the kids?
Adults are more than welcome to join in the fun!
With each birthday party package, one adult will gain free entry to the snow (excluding rental equipment). Additional adults will be required to pay the standard entrance rates of $61 for a day pass and $32 for the rental of skis/snowboard, boots and poles.
Do I need to make a booking?
Yes bookings are required for the birthday party packages. Please complete the booking form and return by email to rachel@snowplanet.co.nz, or by fax to (09) 421 0793.
Am I allowed to bring my own food?
Please note, you are welcome to bring along morning tea or lunch, however unfortunately this is unabale to be consumed in the Snowplanet Restaurant & Bar. Picnic tables and large grass areas are available for use outside (weather dependant).
What do the kids need to bring?
Snowplanet hires all the required equipment, including: jacket or pants ($11 per item), jacket and pants ($19 for both), gloves ($9 per pair), helmets ($5 each) and wristguards ($5 each).
We do not hire beanies or socks for hygiene reasons, so please bring your own.
