Kids Birthday Parties
Kids Birthday Parties are great at Snowplanet! For a fantastic and memorable snow-filled birthday party, book a Kid's Party Pack at Snowplanet. We offer a one-of-a-kind experience, where children can be introduced to snow sports with their friends!
Kids Party Package
What does the Kid's Party Package include?
- $49 per child (aged 4-12 years, minimum of 6 children)
- Day Pass for access to the snow
- Rental Equipment (skis/snowboard, boots and poles or toboggan)
- Kids Party meal and drink in the Snowplanet Restaurant & Bar
- One Adult gains free snow entry with the birthday party packages (excludes rental equipment).
Extras
- We can also supply a Snowplanet Mud Cake upon request for only $35! You are more than welcome to bring your own cake if you wish.
- You have the option to also book a ski/snowboard instructor for one-hour for an additional $95. Instructors are subject to availability, so please request them upon making your booking.
- Clothing hire is additional ($11 for single item, $19 for jacket and pants).
- Gloves can be hired at a price of $7 per pair.
- We do not hire beanies or socks, so please bring your own, or alternatively you can purchase them on-site from our Snowcentre store.

What does the Tobogganing Party Package include?
- $39 per child (aged 2-6 years, minimum of 6 children)
- Two-hour Snow Pass

FAQs
What if the adults want to go into the snow with the kids?
Adults are more than welcome to join in the fun!
With each birthday party package, one adult will gain free entry to the snow (excluding rental equipment). Additional adults will be required to pay the standard entrance rates of $59 for a day pass and $32 for the rental of skis/snowboard, boots and poles.
Do I need to make a booking?
Yes bookings are required for the birthday party packages. Please complete the booking form and return by email to rachel@snowplanet.co.nz, or by fax to (09) 421 0793.
Am I allowed to bring my own food?
Please note, you are welcome to bring along morning tea or lunch, however unfortunately this is unabale to be consumed in the Snowplanet Restaurant & Bar. Picnic tables and large grass areas are available for use outside (weather dependant).
What do the kids need to bring?
Snowplanet hires all the required equipment, including: jacket or pants ($11 per item), jacket and pants ($19 for both), gloves ($7 per pair), helmets ($5 each) and wristguards ($5 each).
We do not hire beanies or socks for hygiene reasons, so please bring your own, or alternatively you can purchase them from our onsite Snowcentre store.
