Slopes

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The snow will be closed to the public from 1pm to 2.45pm on Saturday 13th February for the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony!

Please bear in mind that it is -5º Celsius inside the snowdome. Warm clothing and gloves are highly recommended for your own safety and well being.

We do hire out jackets and pants (limited stock only) that are subject to availability on the day.  We do advise all guests to come prepared with their own appropriate warm clothing and gloves.

Gloves and hats aren’t available to hire at Snowplanet due to hygiene reasons.  If you forget gloves, hats & socks on the day, they can be purchased from the Snowcentre shop located here at Snowplanet.

With safety in mind, we strongly recommend guests with no prior snowsport experience don’t use the lifts without supervision of a Snowplanet qualified snowsport instructor.

If you are new to snowsports, our Snow Academy has a range of fun courses and one-off introductory lessons on offer to help you make the most from your time in the snow.  For further information on lessons, please click here.

Lockers are located in the rental department that cost $5 for 3 hours and $7 for the day.

Helmets are complimentary for our guests safety.  These items are located in the rental department.

The Snowplanet Restaurant & Bar lends itself to a full panoramic view over the snowdome, providing the best entertainment in town.

Please be aware that the cafe & bar is fully licensed and we unfortunately don’t permit any BYO of any food & beverages consumed in here.

Our snow is made by special snow machines and free of any chemicals.
