What To Wear

As it is a very chilly -5 degrees celcius in the snow dome, we recommend that you wear the following clothing:

  • Gloves are absolutely essential! We suggest waterproof gloves. We hire gloves if you require them at a price of $7 per pair, and they are available for purchase from our on-site Snowcentre store. 

  • Please bring your own beanies and socks as we do not hire these items for hygiene reasons.

  • A waterproof outer-layer of clothing is recommended to ensure you do not get wet.

  • Warm layers of clothing under your waterproof layer is highly recommended to keep you warm.

  • We recommend the use of helmets and wristguards for safety reasons. These are available for hire at Snowplanet at a small additional charge.

Private Lessons (One-Hour)

Private Lessons can cater for up to three people and are available at almost any time. The lesson can be customised to the level of the individual or group, and is the most effective way to develop your skiing or snowboarding!

  • Price: $95 per lesson (Lesson combo packages available from $89pp)
  • Available: At any time within our opening hours (dependent on the availability of instructors)
  • Lesson type: Private Ski, Private Snowboard - All ages

First-Timer Group Lessons (Two-Hour)

Group Ski & Snowboarding lessons at Snowplanet are designed to give you an exciting and safe introduction to the world of snow sports. Our qualified instructors will get you up and running in no time!

  • Price: $45 per person (Group Lesson Combos available from $89pp)
  • Available: Saturdays and Sundays at 11am
  • Lesson type: Adult Ski, Adult Snowboard, Child Ski & Child Snowboard Lessons
  • Length: Two hours
